"We passed this restaurant in a taxi and made a special effort to make a note of where it was. We are there last night and it was stupendous. It’s a basic place inside but the service was incredibly warm and kind. They went to extra lengths to accommodate me as a vegetarian and I had just as good a meal as the meat eaters. Our plates were cleaned of every grain of rice and we left with big smiles. Absolutely fantastic I’ll return someday!"

"After a long day of visiting Nice. Came home and didn’t feel like going out for dinner. Looked out restaurant near us and decided to give Afghan restaurant a try. I was glad that I did. Although ordering was interesting. Although my translator app helped. I was able to ordered what was on displayed and decided to get the chicken biryani. While I was waiting for that, I saw dinner eating a delicious looking soup and ask if I can get one as well. It was a chickpea chicken soup that’s sour and spicy, perfect combination. It was very delicious. The chicken biryani was no different. You can taste the spice in every bite with a kick at the end. Exactly what I needed after a long day. Definitely give this place a try if you are in town."

"Great owner! Food looks amazing! Although I didn’t get to eat much the owner was kind enough to provide a drink that my husband wanted. Has a cute son who ran out and brought the specific energy drink we asked for! The back part of the restaurant is still under renovation but I am sure the final product will be beautiful as he explained to me. Reasonable price with variety food choices! If you haven’t tried Afghan dishes before this place is a must try"

"Cute no frills restaurant ran by a really friendly woman. We went in the middle of the afternoon so the menu ran out of a couple things but what they did have was delicious. Flavorful beef dumplings in a tangy yogurt and herb sauce w fried chickpeas. The afghan soup is comforting and cumin forward. Sambusas freshly fried."
